Cardiff

Within Cardiff, Wales' Capital you'll find unique attractions, top class entertainment and quality shopping with a difference - all within walking distance.

Wales Millennium CentreThe City centre is mix of new and old. The part Roman, part Norman, part Victorian Castle stands next to the modern Principality Stadium and modern high street shops and malls are interlaced with old Victorian and Edwardian arcades.

Recently named the 6th best shopping destination in the UK, Cardiff also offers quality shopping with a difference all year round.

Highlights of a visit include the iconic Wales Millennium Centre, inspired by the Welsh landscape, language and culture situated on Cardiff Bay's waterfront and the world-famous Principality Stadium which has helped place Cardiff firmly on the world sporting map. Both of these venues offer guided tours and group rates.

Also, the jewel in the city's crown is Cardiff Castle offering guided tours of the Victorian Neo Gothic apartments as well as the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Welsh banquet and an evening of entertainment within the medieval Undercroft - a true taste of Wales.

The Bay is also home to the Doctor Who Experience, where visitors do battle with Daleks and Cybermen on a journey in time in the Tardis and see monsters, costumes and props from the BBC Wales series - much of which was filmed in and around Cardiff. If you don't mind getting wet, Cardiff International White Water is waiting, with rafting, slalom canoeing and other white water adventures.

All of the above sit within the one square mile of Cardiff's bustling city centre alongside luxury hotels, a network of shopping malls and arcades, and a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes.
